Freezing Saddles

Ride bike. Earn points.

The official leaderboard and data analysis charts for the BikeArlington Freezing Saddles 2025 competition.
Freezing Saddles is a game organized by friends in the Washington Area Bike Forum. It is a convivial and good-humored competition in which participants are randomly assigned to teams. The teams then compete for points by riding their bikes all winter, in the cold, in the dark and in the snow, and by engaging in pointless challenges. The winners win and, well, so does everyone else. You should join! Read more on the Forum link at the top, and sign up by following the Register link. Registration opens around Thanksgiving; the competition starts on January 1st, and ends on the last full day of astronomical winter, usually March 19th.
